The “World of Books” exhibition

May 14 to 15, 2010.
The “World of Books” exhibition is a natural supplement to and decoration of the “Education. Career. Business” Festival. The objective of the exhibition is to attach a high social status to the modern literature by means of launching the editions based on the most important federal priorities of educating the rising generation into the market.

The exhibition seeks to become a large-scale cultural event in the South of Russia that will represent a wide range of educational, fiction and developing literature, modern educational methods in paper and electronic media, game and informative programs addressed to children, adolescents and students, as well as to teachers, methodologists and librarians.

The exhibition is a source of getting information about the achievements of Russian book publishers, scientists, pedagogues and IT developers. It is aimed at any readers and at book distributors, children’s and adolescents’ reading managers (librarians, methodologists, kindergarteners, school and college teachers and parents).

Principal objectives of the “World of Books” exhibition:

• representation of educational, children’s and enlightening books publishing
• assistance in distribution of information about new educational programs and methodologies that are offered by the publishers in paper and electronic media
• popularization of national fiction 
• promotion of national children’s books and reading
• protectionism towards the regional educational book publishing
• support of publishing business and book distribution in the field of medium-scale and small-scale business
• promotion of projects of social significance in the field of book publishing and book distribution
• improvement of the professional levels of publishers and distributors of fiction and educational literature, development of new forms of promotion of educational and children’s literature in the market and application of these forms in the exhibition holding

Geographical layout of the participants – Southern Federal District, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, representative offices of Russian and foreign companies.
